Meet your match at the MET

Find a buddy and participate in a gallery program at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  What a fantastic way to explore the mecca of arts, history, and of course, pure magic of the MET.  Last Friday, for Valentine’s Day, my fiancé took me to a gallery program called “Meet Your Match at the MET” – You simply follow a fun quiz on your personality and interests that guide you through the museum to find your perfect match… your perfect match of ARTWORK that is!

Wandering through the great hallways and booming ceilings we could have gotten lost amidst the sculptures, statues and surreal paintings.  Other friends and couples shared in on the fun by navigating their way through the “self-quiz” toward respective artworks.

Snacks and delicious signature cocktails on the grand balcony followed the scavenger hunt….  The laughter and smiles amoungst museum-goers was just as beautiful of a site as the landmark itself!

We concluded the Feast of Saint Valentine with a romantic dinner at the MET Members Dining room on the top floor of the museum.  Talk about a restaurant with a view — the floor to ceiling glass overlooks all of central park and the downtown skyline of Manhattan.  View below for glimpses of our evening through the museum.
